Tall case clock by John Dalrymple, ca. 1750
John Dalrymple of Dublin, Ireland made this tall case clock, ca.1750. It is an eight-day clock with an English bell strike movement, a brass dial and a silvered chapter ring. It is surmounted by a brass eagle, and has a bird etched onto the face of the clock.
Purchased for Montpelier by the Bureau of Parks and Lands in 1970
