Postscript of a letter from Major Samuel Shaw, member of the Society of Cincinnati, written to General Knox on December 20, 1791, in which Shaw describes the porcelain that he is shipping to the Knox family. Included in his gift is the chocolate pot that appears on page 18 and bears the Society of Cincinnati emblem.
