Baroque and Beyond. Kick back on a lovely summer evening and enjoy the classical 18th-century strains of Beethoven, Vivaldi, Handel, Mozart, and Bach. Toss in a twentieth century composer or two like Debussy, Hindemith, Vaughan-Williams or Koechlin. All with a glass of chilled wine in hand, seated comfortably in Montpelier’s gorgeously-appointed Federal period Oval Room. Maine Friends of Music chamber ensemble, whose members include flutist Linda Brunner, bassoonist David DeBolt, and harpsichordist/organist Sean Fleming, make a triumphant return to Knox Museum in 2017.
